Now — Infosys Consulting

One calendar,
two mandates

Since late 2024, two leadership roles run in parallel — a dual mandate earned by automating the overhead of leadership itself.

Mandate 01 · Nov 2024 — present

Head of Enterprise Architecture

On a multi-year build-and-operate engagement for a major European connectivity & entertainment group.

  • Align three independent architecture teams — entertainment, connectivity and IT platforms — under one technology roadmap and investment view.
  • Head the data-governance forum for the core platforms: framework, policies, processes and tooling.
  • Pre-sales across 10+ RFPs — several in the hundreds of millions of euros — owning the architecture and governance content. Three wins.
Mandate 02 · 2025 — present

Program Lead — Confidential Venture

An enterprise-backed subscription-management startup, under NDA ahead of its public launch.

  • Lead a ~20-person cross-functional program — backend, iOS/Android, design, QA and AI workstreams — from build through closed beta.
  • Own delivery end to end across 2,000+ tracked work items: open-banking integration, AI-driven discovery, integration and acceptance testing, steering-level reporting.
  • Carried the product through architecture review, security & penetration testing, privacy and data-protection gates.

The second role didn't come from working longer hours. It came from building the machine that does the reporting, the governance and the triage — then leading with the time it gave back.

Method — AI-enabled delivery

Leadership,
industrialised

Program governance runs through agentic AI pipelines — not as a demo, but as the daily operating system of a live program. The same pipeline ships production code.

Plan

Requirements and defects become code-grounded implementation plans, reviewed against the real codebase.

Review

Independent adversarial passes refute the plan before a line is written — premises verified, blockers surfaced.

Implement

Agents deliver across a 20-module backend, mobile clients, gateway and infrastructure-as-code.

Verify

Outcome reports, test gates and coverage thresholds close the loop. Nothing merges on trust alone.

Shipped through this loop: a production LLM support assistant (Vertex AI Gemini) with its admin tooling and gateway routes — plus the PMO itself: automated sprint reporting, root-cause analysis and an executive defect brief generated daily.

The record — 2000 to today

Promoted into
broader scope

The pattern across two decades: join to solve one problem, get handed the wider one. Repeatedly promoted mid-program on billion-euro transformations.

2020 — 2024 · Dubai

Head of Solution SI & Architecture

du · billion-dollar digital transformation

Replacing a national telco's legacy stack with a digital-first platform on TMF Open standards. Owned the SDLC end to end — requirements, architecture, QA, testing and customer migration — from RFP through the first release, including a spell as interim Head of Technology Transformation leading the full technology organisation.

Solution lead → Architecture & Solution Lead → interim Head of Technology Transformation → Head of Solution SI & Architecture — four steps in four years.

2019 — 2020 · Netherlands

Head of Platform & Architecture

Talpa Network

Coordinated ~40 architects across a company grown by acquisition — created and led the Architecture Chapter and Architecture Board in a matrix organisation with no direct reporting lines. Introduced the lean decision process, application and technical-debt catalogues, and C4 modelling as the house standard.

2018 — 2019 · Netherlands

Enterprise Architect

RTL Netherlands

Owned technology vision, roadmap and vendor selection. As lead solution architect, delivered the new-generation Videoland VOD platform — microservices on AKS with continuous deployment — migrating the backend with zero customer impact at peak load. Devised the strategy-linking model tying every user story to one of five business focus areas.

2016 — 2018 · Netherlands

Manager, Architecture & Strategy

Ingenico ePayments

Local Head of Architecture with nine architects as direct reports — drove the discipline toward agile architecture while staying hands-on as enterprise and solution architect in a global payments platform.

2011 — 2016 · Netherlands

Domain & Solution Architect

Ahold

Owned the integration domain for one of Europe's largest retailers — strategy, governance and best practices — alongside solution architecture across multiple programs.

2009 — 2011 · Netherlands

IT Architect & EAI Engineer

UPC / Liberty Global

End-to-end architecture of several programs, most notably the Vitria replacement — first contact with the cable & entertainment world.

2000 — 2009 · Portugal

The apprenticeship

Multiple organisations

Production support engineer → developer → designer → architect → manager → director. The decade that made everything after it possible.
